This is the first of my concentration projects for my AP Computer Art class. For anyone who does not know about AP computer art, essentially one half of my projects created during the year must be created around a central idea and art style. Essentially, my idea was to focus on cityscapes. Generally, cities are not know for their colour- they are made of brick and stone, cement and steel. Their design is perpendicular and parallel for the most part. My idea is to take cities and represent them in a way that shows them as I see them. They are physically square, but in nature they are truly as fluid as the forests and mountains. I intend to represent them as above, with bright, surreal colour, buildings fluid, and textural contrast.
In later projects I will focus more on the subject- this project was meant to introduce the idea and style, but not actually attack it head on.
